This week's cat pictures:
Aren't the kittens getting big??? They celebrated their 6 mos birthdays last week!
Rita, sleeping in the south-facing window, tucked about as tightly as is possible
Felix and Atticus share a prime sleeping spot in the dining room. The jacket was stuffed with a cotton sweater and modified into a sleeping mat. Heyyyy...that leather is a little cool on the fur, don'tcha know!

November 21st
Weather: cool early, but it warmed up nicely as the day went on
Amount spent: 60 cents
Comments: Joe is out of town, so he missed out on all the fun this week. Just a single sale, so we went to a couple of thrift stores in Ft Collins and ran some errands. Ft Collins was a nice change of scenery.
The clock is easy to set--except for changing the day of the week! I can't figure out how that is done. So Joe will have a puzzle waiting for his return.
The kittens loved the ball. As soon as I snapped the picture Smoke jumped onto the table and batted it off, then jumped off and picked it off the floor with her mouth and ran away with her prize! Both kittens have been playing with it since, they like these kinds of balls because they are easy to carry.
Panda and Atticus taking in the morning sunshine. I took the picture this morning (Sat).

And here is Panda again, a little later, curled up on the perch with Bella:

And here is Mr Felix, who jumped up and onto the jacket as soon as I dropped it on the chair--before we'd finished bringing everything in from the car!! He was busy sleeping by the time I started logging the cuuh, and he looks like a happy cat.
This picture was taken one morning last week, Bella Cotton enjoying the sun through the south-facing window in the computer room. (The flannel sheet she is sleeping on is cuuh from last summer...)

Only got 2 pieces of cuuh today, top left of photo:
- box of Sculpy (polymer clay)--$1
- small Ball drinking jar--10 cents
everything else in the picture is from the Discount Grocery, where we found incredible deals like pkgs of pipe cleaners for 10 cents each (and for just a dollar, now have a lifetime supply), small boxes of onion and garlic-onion bullion cubes, cinnamon, raspberry, orange and French vanilla extract, A-1 Teriyaki marinade, a pound of buckwheat...unbelievable variety! The two bite-sized candy bars were given to us (Halloween) at the drive-up window at the bank where G + M made a deposit.
and here are some pictures for all the cat fans out there:
Rita and Panda sleeping on a chair in the dining room
Diesel Smoke at the top of the climbing tree in the bedroom, she is in hot pursuit of the dot from the laser pointer
Atticus, sitting like a meatloaf on the bed

October 26th
Weather: sunny and quite breezy, overall cool
Amount spent: $4
Comments: G + M were in LA this week, so it was just the two of us saleing on Friday. As often happens when we head out alone, we didn't find a single thing to buy. All the sales were duds. This morning we went to DIA to pick up G + M and took the back roads home, on the lookout for garage sales of course. Found a good one in a new development in Thornton, and we all managed to find a little cuuh on this rare not-a-Friday expedition.

The kittens are 20 weeks old this weekend.
Diesel Smoke likes Joe to hold her "in the position," shown here. She will meow standing on the floor at his feet, asking him to lift her up, so well mannered, asking for an invitation! As soon as he helps her snuggle into position she starts purring loudly, and will happily sit like this for hours, content with him both sitting or standing up and walking around.

Panda seems much more independent than her sister. Here she is sleeping on a dining room chair, using the Camry manual pouch for a pillow.
The kittens are growing up quickly and becoming delightful little cats!!

Weather: absolutely perfect

Comments: It's been awhile since I've bought many reference books or any sewing machines, found some nice ones today. Almost all this is mine, all Joe bought were the can stackers and the book on Australia! A beautiful day with all the trees turning colors and balmy temperatures.
