Februry 8th

Weather: sunny and windy

Comments: we went to an estate and a moving sale in Longmont today, then visited two thrift stores there. It was fun exploring a new town!
*note: there was no post last week because we went on a field trip to H-mart (korean grocery store) and although we came home laden with treasures, they were not technically cuuh....

Amount spent: $12.25

Both Atticus and Bella helped to log the cuuh today, but by the time I got things arranged and got the camera out, Bella had moved into a nearby sunny window.

We got most of this stuff at the estate sale, only the flare box and 2 pieces of fabric were from the moving sale. Thrift shops were interesting, but we didn't wind up buying anything at either one.

Starting at the top left of the table:
  • metal, waterproof flare storage box--$1
  • orange and red cardboard card storage boxes--$1 each
  • (in the gray case) key fob with several keyrings which can be easily added or removed--25 cents
  • (on yellow box) hank of lengths of various colors of embroidery thread--25 cents
  • gray V-neck cashmere sweater in new condition--$2
  • 2 smallish pieces of craft fabric--25 cents each
  • 2 partial rolls of strapping tape--25 cents each
  • cat nail clippers--25 cents
  • bag with 6 partially-full cans of shoeshine wax + saddlesoap and a buffing brush--50 cents
  • 5 envelopes of German pudding mix and torte gel--25 cents each
  • paperback book, Michner's Alaska--25 cents
  • Rub n Buff Gold and cake gold finish (on cards)--50 cents each
  • 3 pkgs automatic coffeemaker cleaner/descaler--25 cents each
  • unopened tube of bathtub caulk--25 cents
  • 6 pairs socks--25 cents each
