Amount spent: $5
Comments: Joe and I decided to drive around a visit a few sales this morning.
Attie helped with set up for the photos. Luckily he is very careful around cuuh, as there were a few breakables in the set up today!
- book, softcover, Interchange Manual for Fords--$1
- book, softcover, Cougar High Country Cookbook --25 cents
- 7 sets souvenir S + P sets--$1.75/all
- gatorade soft-sided insulated bag--10 cents
- angel food cake pan--25 cents
- small thermometer (square) on a magnet--10 cents
- 2 Pyrex bowls, 1 with cover--$1/both
- tupperware scoop--30 cents
- green apron with big pockets--25 cents
We found the S + P shakers at the last sale we stopped at, seemed like someone's collection was being sold off. The woman running the sale wanted 25 cents/set, they didn't seem to have much value to her. Another shopper bought some when he heard how reasonable the price was, we both walked away with some very cool pieces! The TVs are from Laurel, MD and I couldn't resist the kitchy tombstones from Boot Hill.
Joe was immediately drawn to this set of ceramic picnic condiments, which even included the little relish container! Such deals for just a quarter a set! These sales can make it impossible not to collect!!!
